I’m very pleased to be working with the Lumina Foundation, which has the bold goal: To increase the proportion of Americans with high-quality degrees and credentials to 60% by the year 2025.” My session will explore what the students of the future will look like — demographics, values, needs, goals, etc. A few of the questions we hope to discuss include:
— Which mix of instructional options will students prefer: face-to-face, hybrid, virtual?
— What other ways might future students get the learning or credentials they need?
— How might future students remake the “traditional” educational pathway?
And then we’ll look at how higher education needs to change to align with those future students. The Lumina team has assembled an impressive list of participants –should be a great learning experience! — Andy Hines
