As a reader of this blog, I’m assuming that you support the ideas about changing values presented in ConsumerShift. It seems that the book is doing well among those who are familiar with my work. The challenge, of course, is in spreading the ideas to those not familiar with my work. There has not been a lot written about the future of vales from a futurist perspective. My hope for this work was that it would help fill this gap; help fill out a futures perspective that is more developed in other areas such as demography, economics, and technology.
The publisher has asked me to ask you that if you feel strongly enough about the merit of spreading these ideas, would you be willing to do a review of the book on Amazon? The amazing power of Amazon as a platform highlights the importance of having reviews on the site that will provide guidance to those less familiar with the work and trying to decide whether to buy or not. I am not asking for puff pieces that suggest how wonderful the book is (though that would be nice, too), but rather an honest analysis of what you got out of the book. What ideas resonated with you? Where was the book helpful? How might you apply it? And so on. I would sure appreciate it if you’d be willing to help spread the ideas. Andy Hines
